When comparing Zal to other little babies his age, he's extremely chilled out. He doesn't cry much, whines a bit when he's tired, and is content to play on the floor with toys. He still is not rolling; today he was frustrated when he couldn't reach a toy, but didn't feel the need to roll to get the toy. When we're in social gatherings, he mostly stares at people. He has hardly ever played shy. At home he smiles a lot, is cooing more and more, and likes to flail his hands and kick his legs. Mom Kent, was Dave like this? I'm pretty sure I was more high maintenance. So, yesterday when Zal actually started "jumping" in the jolly jumper I had to video it. The quality on my ancient camera is pretty poor, but you'll get the idea! Of course, we think everything he does is adorable. He's eating more frequently, so am pretty sure he'll be ready for solids next week.

| Life is beautiful! |
| I just love his little toque! |
| Zal has a bit of a cold and we think he is teething. He actually has been a bit grumpy the last two days..which is very unusual. Dave had put these teething keys in the freezer for Zal. He was pretty happy to suck on them and hang with Dad. |
| He's always sucking something these days! |

| He often falls asleep in the car and his toque always ends up covering his eyes...oh, so cute! |
Zal is missing a step-ball-change when the violin kicks in. More work on his technique! (And that is David on the violin right?)
ReplyDeleteWe were thinking Uncle Steve could teach him that move in Dec.!
ReplyDeleteAnd now you know what Dave was REALLY doing up in Stony...we'll be going on the road soon!
