It seems we went straight from Winter to Summer....and we are NOT complaining. Here's a photo diary of life since Easter....
| Adalyn fell from her sitting position and didn't seem to mind one bit! |
| If Adalyn thinks tupperware is a cool, so does Zal! |
| HI! Adalyn loves to wave! |
| She's eating regular table food now! |
| Love, love those BLUE eyes! |
| Zal has his routine and his order of doing things and eating things, etc, etc. |
| If Adalyn enjoys the exersaucer, so does Zal....except he actually doesn't! |
| Driving some kind of machine with his hard hat! |
| Mmmm....bacon! |
| Let me tell you, this was a VERY WELCOME sight! The first days of "almost no snow" were pretty exciting!! |
| Zal has been very intrigued with bugs this spring. |
| He takes "lawn mowing" very seriously. |
| chunk of ice |
| Zal is showing off for Anaiah! |
| They are cracking each other up! |
| startling blue eyes |
| Zal continues to make beds all over the house! If only he thought sleeping was a good idea at 5:30 every morn. Sigh! |
| At the end of April, the kids and I got to go to Wpg for five days to see MOM and Aunt Joyce and Uncle Frank! |
| It was soooo special to be with Mom and Auntie Joyce! |
| The kids got spoiled and I got to relax. |
| Zal was pretty annoyed when he couldn't delete his art. Kids these days! |
| So....much fun....so many giggles! |
| You can't really tell, but Zal was throwing around a wet rag and thinking he was pretty hilarious! |
| Great visits with Family |
| My little elf |
| Being goofy |
| All of a sudden we noticed that the bird feeder outside of the window was shaking...this guy was the culprit! |
| Zal THOUGHT this was a good idea at first... |
| She's getting so big! |
| Another bed! |
| Oh, they are sooo cute! |
| Adalyn now loves her bottle...and as of this week, is 100% weaned! :) |
| I feel like Adalyn looks like Grandma Ens in this picture. |
| When Adalyn is tired or hungry she grabs a stuffed animal or blanket (or Zal's undies...she did that today) and starts sucking her thumb. It is so adorable! |
| My Mother's Day flowers |
| Adalyn is fitting into all of her 12 month outfits. Love this one! |
| Sibling Love |
| So big and handsome! |
| Got to host a surprise party for Aunt Marge. Tammy cam from Burns Lake, Gail from near Winnipeg, and Murray, from Kansas City! |
| Aunt Marge brought Zal gifts...after all, she thought she was just coming to see us. |
| My beautiful aunt and cousins |
| Adalyn got to stay up late.... |
| but apparently was tired! |
| Berry Good! |
| Painting in his undies! It's probably 6 am or some ridiculous hour in this pic! |
| My Mother's Day Card |
| Cheeky! |
| We loved having Auntie Jenny and Uncle Seamus come to town! |
| And the classic Berry Barn Photo Shoot |
| Beautiful Baby Girl...who is ELEVEN months! |
| I will refrain from commenting, Seamus! :) |
| Zal loved playing with Seamus...Auntie Seamus! |
| Awww |
| Happy THIRD Birthday to my handsome, smart, timid, funny, stubborn, chatty Zalmon Peter Kent! |
| Kickin' it old school |
| Beautiful! |
| So happy together |
| And a sneak preview of Zal's Space Party tomorrow! Rocket Cake
(hello icing and candy), jet packs for the kids, and my inflatable solar
system (so glad I taught space for six years). I'm excited to hear Zal's reaction in the morning, when he sees all of the planets! |
