The frequency of my posts have really waned since starting work in September. Ok, so it's not just work to blame! :) Monday was a pretty special day as all three of us got to hear our little baby's heartbeat. The Kent family is expanding!!! We are super excited to meet baby number two (we really need a more creative name soon) in about six months!!!
And since our family is growing in size, we thought it appropriate to buy a house during the Christmas season. argh! Although excited about our new place (come visit us) life has been insane. The sale has been private, so we have had to learn a lot about what we would normally pay realtors to do; that being said, we have been happy to do it ourselves. :) We also thought it a great idea to rent our condo....until we started the active search for renters. Wednesday night, we sealed the deal with friends of ours!! Why did I worry and lose so much sleep over this? Am so thankful that so many prayers have been answered. We are so blessed!
And now for pictures of ZALMON!!!!
| Zal loves "ZAL-SIZED" spaces. This being one of his new favorites. Don't worry, he's supervised! |
| His Bolivian and Chinese roots showing through.....again |
| For awhile Zal was into coasters.... |
| Not a climber (I'm sure Papa will fix that someday), this stool has been revolutionary! |
| For awhile, Zal thought this to be the best way to sit in his chair. He has now adapted to the conventional approach. |
| Unfortunately, Zal's trips to the park have been less frequent of late. Thank you very much, SK wind!!! |
| Where else would one read a book? |
| ...or drink milk? |
| Oh, apple sauce....remember the days when I made you from scratch? Thank you MOTTS for fixing that routine... |
| We've been looking forward to this day! |
| To think that this jokester hardly cracked a smile for the first six months of his life! |
| We occasionally get out on the town....after waiting TWO HOURS, we enjoyed a fabulous (of course) meal at the KEG with our small group! |
| Again, not a climber, so ENTER stool! |
| Zal has basically spent the last few days on this couch because he's so proud of his feat! |
| To make his experience complete he needs the following: Curious George books, airplane, remote, and often his blankie! |
| And last, but not least, the most hilarious picture ever: taken at Dave's West Wind party for kids a couple of weeks ago. I think it's funny that although he clearly wants to go to Dave, he's still staring at the camera! |
