| We took the subway a lot! This one happens to be quite empty. We tried to avoid rush hour, so as not to be separated. The stroller had to be navigated up & down many escalators and stairs...glad that it is an all-terrain vehicle! |

| Tiananmen Square....Maosoleum in background. This was our first full day in Beijing and one of the hottest (humidity is super high). I think Zal was so well behaved because he was delirious. I felt bad, but then reminded myself that I grew up in the tropics and turned out just fine... |

| We had four home cooked meals in four weeks, so this was a typical scene. Zal was a very good sport! Here we actually had a high chair; usually, he was on our laps. Best dumpling place ever! |

| We took a very fast train (370 km/hr) to the "town" (a couple million) of Suzhou. We had a VERY hard time finding taxis in Suzhou. Here Kendra and Ian are doing their best to spot a taxi. We walked and waited an hour 1/2 before finally finding some willing pedicabs! |

| Suzhou is known for their beautiful gardens, places for poets and artists to create. After finally getting to one of these gardens, thanks to some pedicab drivers, we felt at peace and serene. |

| Happy Tourists! From Suzhou, we hired a driver (no more searching for cabs) to take us to the town of Tongli (probably still a million or two people)...known for its canals...also referred to as the Venice of China. |
